{"id":54836,"date":"2021-02-26T12:46:15","date_gmt":"2021-02-26T12:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/munilaja.cl\/w\/?p=54836"},"modified":"2021-02-26T12:46:52","modified_gmt":"2021-02-26T12:46:52","slug":"ministerio-del-medio-ambiente-llama-a-botar-de-forma-responsable-las-mascarillas-desechables","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/munilaja.cl\/w\/ministerio-del-medio-ambiente-llama-a-botar-de-forma-responsable-las-mascarillas-desechables\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministerio del Medio Ambiente llama a botar de forma responsable las mascarillas desechables"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La campa\u00f1a Bota Responsable invita a la ciudadan\u00eda a evitar que calles, parques, playas o bosques sean contaminados con elementos pl\u00e1sticos de protecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Bota Responsable es la nueva campa\u00f1a del Ministerio del Medio Ambiente que busca reducir la contaminaci\u00f3n generada por el mal manejo de la \u201cbasura covid-19\u201d, haciendo un llamado a la ciudadan\u00eda a redoblar los cuidados sobre el manejo de mascarillas o guantes desechables.<\/p>\n<p>La ministra del Medio Ambiente, Carolina Schmidt, sostuvo que \u201cla llegada del Coronavirus masific\u00f3 la utilizaci\u00f3n de mascarillas o guantes, en su mayor\u00eda pl\u00e1sticas, las que una vez utilizadas se transforman en residuos, porque no son biodegradables ni reciclables. Es por eso que hacemos un llamado a cuidarnos utilizando siempre mascarillas, pero ser responsables con ellas una vez que dejamos de usarlas para que no contaminen nuestro entorno\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La titular de Medio Ambiente aconsej\u00f3 que las mascarillas o guantes de pl\u00e1stico deben ser desechados en la basura, tomando todos los resguardos: en una bolsa separada esos elementos y utilizando doble bolsa antes de botar en el caso de hogares con personas con Covid-19, evitando poner en riesgo a los recicladores y recolectores.<\/p>\n<p>Las mascarillas pesan aproximadamente 4 gramos, por lo que f\u00e1cilmente pueden ser trasladadas por el viento hacia entornos naturales como r\u00edos, lagos o el mar. Debido a que est\u00e1n hechas de elementos pl\u00e1sticos, tardan alrededor de 450 a\u00f1os en degradarse, contaminando gravemente el medio ambiente si no se botan de forma adecuada.<\/p>\n<p>Si cada chileno utilizara 2 mascarillas diarias, en el pa\u00eds se desechar\u00edan 34 millones de ellas, aproximadamente, cada 24 horas.
