En este marco, el pasado mi\u00e9rcoles 24 de julio, lleg\u00f3 hasta Laja el Director Regional de esta entidad Javier Puentes para hacer entrega de implementos consistentes\u00a0 en\u00a0 palas para canoas y kayaks, chalecos salvavidas de diferentes tallas, y rodilleras para canoas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A la ceremonia asisti\u00f3 el Alcalde Jos\u00e9 Pinto Albornoz en compa\u00f1\u00eda del Cuerpo de Concejales, participando un grupo importantes de deportistas de la especialidad, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n padres y apoderados que conforman la Asociaci\u00f3n Lajina de Canotaje. El edil felicit\u00f3 a la delegaci\u00f3n de canoistas que el pasado fin de semana gan\u00f3 en Huasco III regi\u00f3n, las Copas Federaci\u00f3n de Canotaje y Copa Huasco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Alcalde Pinto en su intervenci\u00f3n dijo: \u201dhace m\u00e1s de doce a\u00f1os que comenzamos a trabajar por este sue\u00f1o del canotaje al ver este escenario natural que conforma la laguna La Se\u00f1oraza, siempre cre\u00edmos que ac\u00e1 se pod\u00edan hacer grandes cosas y que se requer\u00eda una inversi\u00f3n por parte del Estado como la casa de botes que hoy se tiene, no nos equivocamos, hoy es una realidad, los ni\u00f1os lajinos as\u00ed lo han demostrado con sus triunfos, tanto los peque\u00f1os de las escuelas formativas del \u00e1rea educacional, como los grandes que compiten a nivel federado\u201d. Finalmente el edil reconoci\u00f3 y agradeci\u00f3 los grandes aportes que el IND hace al deporte comunal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por su parte el Director Regional del IND dijo que la raz\u00f3n de ser de la entidad es difundir y apoyar la actividad f\u00edsica, fomentar el deporte para que mucho m\u00e1s gente se sume a hacer actividad f\u00edsica en todos sus \u00e1mbitos, tanto\u00a0 recreativo, formativo y competitivo, esto \u00faltimo es el caso de Laja y el Canotaje, donde esta comuna es un polo estrat\u00e9gico para el desarrollo de la disciplina.
