Hace poco conocimos un talabartero, el primero de la comuna, quien se abre paso con su oficio desde Laja a diferentes zonas del pa\u00eds, de la misma forma encontramos un artesano en madera, un hombre sencillo y de pocas palabras quien busca \u00a0cobrar revancha a la vida con su arte, buscando su oportunidad de trabajar en lo que le gusta y siendo \u00fatil a la sociedad, despu\u00e9s de haber pasado \u00e9pocas dif\u00edciles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Joel Escobar est\u00e1 dedicado a trabajar la madera con sencillas herramientas y la habilidad de sus manos. \u00c9l utilizando gubias, formones, cuchillos y limas va descubriendo figuras diversas, como aves, flores, marcos de espejos tallados, utensilios dom\u00e9sticos, mesas de centro, labrando para estas troncos para confeccionar el pie de una sola pieza y lo que m\u00e1s le cautiva, r\u00e9plicas de barcos antiguos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A su vez hace trabajos \u00a0de muebler\u00eda, gust\u00e1ndole la recuperaci\u00f3n y restauraci\u00f3n \u00a0de muebles antiguos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dice que esto le nace del coraz\u00f3n y que es un autodidacta, para sus artesan\u00edas solo se basa en lo que observa, lleva ya varios a\u00f1os,\u00a0 trabajando y tratando de comercializar sus productos. Es un hombre con entusiasmo para crear y trabajar la madera, busca apoyo y oportunidad, se siente un bendecido por Dios por el don que tiene \u00a0para trabajar con ella.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La unidad de fomento productivo del municipio buscar\u00e1 la forma de brindarle ayuda, por lo pronto estar\u00e1 invitado a la feria artesanal que se realiza durante el verano.
