De esta manera esta escuela queda a la vanguardia en la provincia, al poseer los implementos necesarios para trabajar diferentes aspectos de rehabilitaci\u00f3n en ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La idea de esta donaci\u00f3n, surge seg\u00fan cuenta la presidenta de la instituci\u00f3n Rosa Zapata, cuando las integrantes del Rotary Club Carlos Zurita se percatan de la necesidad que esta escuela tiene en este tema, la cual carec\u00eda de los implementos necesarios para un trabajo adecuado con sus alumnos. As\u00ed comienzan hace unos meses a reunir dinero a trav\u00e9s de beneficios y con la ayuda del\u00a0 rotario lajino Larry Oliver, se contactan con un club rotario de la ciudad de Burlington en Canad\u00e1, quienes se asocian al club lajino y presentan en conjunto su propuesta de subvenci\u00f3n compartida a Rotary Internacional. Esta es aceptada por el organismo internacional, y de esta forma cada uno aporta un 33 por ciento del dinero necesario para implementar una sala de estimulaci\u00f3n, de la condici\u00f3n que se necesitaba en esta escuela, el\u00a0 monto alcanz\u00f3 una suma cercana a los siete millones de pesos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo el equipamiento fue importado de EEUU, llegando hace poco a la comuna e instal\u00e1ndose en la sala que se adecu\u00f3 para estos fines en la escuela.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La mencionada sala es una combinaci\u00f3n de art\u00edculos que van dirigidos a\u00a0 estimular visual, auditiva, sensorial y kinest\u00e9sicamente los sentidos de los pacientes; destacan por ejemplo una columna de burbujas que permite la relajaci\u00f3n, mediante vibraci\u00f3n y la emisi\u00f3n de luces de colores. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 una colchoneta vibratoria, un mazo de fibra \u00f3ptica, artefacto lum\u00ednico que cambia de color y que se puede tocar, la piscina sensorial de peque\u00f1as pelotas o los muebles en cuyos cajones se guardan art\u00edculos de los cuales emanan aromas y sonidos, \u00a0la sala en s\u00ed constituye en un espacio para explorar y sentir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la ceremonia de inauguraci\u00f3n participaron el alcalde Jos\u00e9 Pinto, el concejo municipal, directivos y socios de los clubes rotarios lajinos y numerosos padres y apoderados de la escuela, junto a los ni\u00f1os beneficiados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El alcalde Pinto, en su intervenci\u00f3n agradeci\u00f3 a los rotarios por este nuevo aporte que hacen, mencionando la permanente preocupaci\u00f3n de ellos por colaborar en diferentes \u00e1mbitos con la comuna, dijo el jefe comunal, que este aporte lo hac\u00eda muy feliz, record\u00f3 que la creaci\u00f3n de esta escuela especial, fue un sue\u00f1o que \u00e9l tuvo en su primera administraci\u00f3n y por la cual trabajo hasta su creaci\u00f3n, por la necesidad que hab\u00eda de entregar el tipo de educaci\u00f3n que en ella se imparte, por tanto, este aporte que Rotary hace tiene m\u00e1s valor, ya que va\u00a0 dirigido a ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes con necesidades especiales, pero que tienen todo el derecho a integrarse a la sociedad y requieren espacios y herramientas, como las entregadas en esta oportunidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El jefe comunal mencion\u00f3 que esta escuela es un ejemplo, sus estudiantes y profesores tienen grandes logros en el tema medio ambiental, son pioneros en el reciclaje, y est\u00e1n constituidos como el punto limpio de la
